Kuta Lagoon Resort
On arrival to the Kuta Lagoon Resort we are greeted by friendly staff who let us rest in an unoccupied Villa while our room in being cleaned ready for our arrival, for this we are grateful as we are 2 hours ahead of check in due to our early flight from Lombok and have a rather cranky 1 year old.
Just off the vibrant Jl Legian Kuta lies the Kuta Lagoon Resort, this bali accommodation almost goes unnoticed in the hustle and bustle of Kuta’s main street for Restaurants and Bars which is why the Kuta Lagoon is a favorite for those who love the nightlife.
The Kuta lagoon isn’t beach front and not 5 star but what it lacks in these areas is made up with friendly staff and a great location for those that want to party all night and still have somewhere close to sleep off the effects of the night.
Around the pool has a great party atmosphere with music and the swim up Tunjung bar, there is also live entertainment on selected nights at the Lagoon Kafe Restaurant which has some great food at reasonable prices. Near the entrance to Kuta Lagoon is the Tuak bar if a bit of Pool takes your fancy or the Palm Room for a bit of Karaoke.
The Pool runs the length of the main buildings with 23 rooms which have Pool access, just 2 steps off the balcony and you are in the cool waters where you can swim up to the bar and order your favorite drink while keeping cool at the same time, on the second floor above the Pool access rooms are 29 Deluxe rooms with views of the Pool and gardens, there are also 12 standard rooms with garden views at ground level, on the other side of the Pool are 5 Private Villas and by the side of the Lobby in a more secluded area are the 12 private Pool Villas which have a plunge pool for your enjoyment.
Staying at the Kuta Lagoon Resort is good value for money if the beach isn’t your main reason for being in Bali, so if you like to be in the middle of the entertainment district give Kuta Lagoon Resort a try! I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.
