The reception of the resort is a careful reconstruction of a joglo called "Sawaagat" which means welcome in Sanskrit. This particular joglo is 250 years old and has been transported from its original location in central Java and reassembled at the resort to give you a blend of Indonesia culture across the islands.

At the centre of the resort, there is an inviting swimming pool, lined with green natural slate. This pool overlooks the river, bamboo stands, and has sun loungers set in a natural Balinese garden. The Shanti Restaurant serves superb Indonesian and International cuisine, with a selection of wines and cocktails available.
